That's what I'm hoping for! Before meth that is. Anything around 500 and I'll be happy, give or take 30 hp.

As for the install kit I'm not sure, but I can ask... thanks!

I dropped by Cedar Performance today, they redid the floor in the shop and repainted and it looks amazing. Took a couple photos of the Turbos, very excited! Dropping off next week some time.

Here are the new High Flows... Cedar actually recommended the high flows for purposes of future-proofing and since they'll be pushed less in this car:

I've bought Rob's install kit before. It includes everything you need in my opinion and is priced right

I wonder if each turbo requires slightly different install kit? Not sure.

Anyway I asked Matthew at Cedar (very nice and helpful, knowledgable smart guy!) and he said basically he gathers the parts himself for it and doesn't use a kit per se. Thought I'd pass the answer on

Matt at Cedar recommended the bucketless stage 3 from Fuel-It. I'm going the Meth route later on, probably won't need port injection.

Here are some new pics, the car is under way - there were a few shipping delays... my seats were delayed due to all that weather in new jersey! Crazy.

Thanks! I've wanted some saddle brown leather seats ever since I owned my first 335 years ago. I ordered these from a guy named
Edik Yukhimchuk up north... the photos I got were beautiful, but when the seats arrived, they were EXTREMELY deep down dirty. It took hours to clean em, and there's even a couple of cigarette burns on them Oh well. Live and learn

Damn sucks to hear about the seats, make sure you use a good leather cleaner and conditioner that leaves them clean/matte and not shiny

congrats man! I 'd like to hear more about your experience at Cedar Performance. I'm also in Dallas and I too have new snails (MMP Stage 3's) on the way and although I plan on installing them myself I would like to have the car tuned at some point after I get an upgraded LPFP.

HI Everyone!

Sorry it's been a bit since I've posted. Things have been CRAZY busy lately at work.

We actually had a few difficulties with late shipments and such, that snow storm up north etc., waiting on parts, but everything eventually came in. Recently, the VRSF 7.5" intercooler FINALLY made it in, after being over a month late But I think it'll be worth the wait, it's massive and highly regarded.

This is not an advertisement; I have NOTHING to do with Cedar Performance. having said that, the place is just amazing and I couldn't be happier for so many reasons. Helpfulness, sharing of knowledge, going the extra mile, caring about their work, knowledge, prices and fairness, everything. I could go on and on about this place... And they are literally 3 minutes walking distance to the DART train station this has been HUGELY convenient for me. I don’t even need anyone to take me and drop me off! I just dart there or back. I live in Rowlett ride by a dart and Work in Richardson by Gatlyn station which is perfect.

Anyway, on to the car. I'll try and keep it short, and hopefully I don't forget anything lol.

The car underwent quite a transformation while there. I came into a few funds and figured I'd get it all done at once. My struts were getting old, so I got V1 coilovers. While the turbos were being replaced, Cedar recommended a number of "cheap while we're down there" type things such as seals and such, so we did all that. We also replaced ALL the fluids in my car with LiquiMoly fluids, and my car is All Wheel Drive so we did both differentials as well, transmission etc. After the lowering, the car almost looked a little odd with "sunken in" wheels so we added wheel spacers and it pulled the wheels out and it looks much better, and even handles better.

Originally I was researching different turbos and leaning toward a different vendor, but then decided to go with Pures because of their reputation. Well, Cedar actually talked me into going ahead and spending an extra $500 on the High Flows for some extra headroom. I knew I'd be going either E85 or meth and would probably wind up around 25lbs, and they said those turbos could do that easily, so we went with those.

I already posted pics about the seats. Cedar has people there that do interior, so they did a number on them and cleaned them up a LOT. I also since have lavished them with McGuire's and they are MUCH, much softer. I've always wanted Saddle Brown and every time I get in the car I just swoon over the interior lol.

Cedar also recommended the Tial blow off valve which sounds really kewl lol, relocated a few things to clean up the engine bay, as can been seen by the photos.

So... after I first got the car back but before they tuned it, it was pretty quick. Then, after the tuning, it's a different car. With everything dialed in, it is a real BEAST, especially from first gear with the AWD. Just wow.

We are heading to the Dyno this week and I'm very anxious to see the numbers. Before any of this, my car made 386 to the wheels with FBO. I'm "guessing" based on driving it that now, it's probably between 440 and 470 at the wheels. Will report back this week with a video and pics. The thing is, it's not just making more power - it's revving WAY faster, and pulls VERY hard ALL the way up to my 7k rpm shift point (love the JB4 shift light feature!).

And of course, this is with max'd out 93 octane gas. With the meth 25 psi should be easy with these turbos, which should put me probably into the 550's. At that point, I'll be done for a long time and just enjoy the car.

Monster VRSF intercooler:

I'll post more pics and hopefully a video of the dyno run this week - really looking forward to that!

Also these are crappy cell phone photos. I'm a semi-pro photographer and plan on taking some "real" photos of the car after I get it cleaned up and such, it's been raining straight here for over a week.

Thanks for viewing

Nice update!!

I saw your car as I was dropping mine off and it looks sharp and sounds mean! Matt will be doing MMP stage 3's, Mfactory flywheel, 335is clutch, rear main seal, oil pan gasket, and new MMP downpipes on my car this week, I can't wait to get it back.

I would have to agree with you about everything you said about Matt and Cedar performance. He hasn't finished my car but from all our conversations so far and what I've seen about his work I would hands-down recommend him to anyone looking for a trusted tuner/repair shop in DFW.

aj, I am wondering if a 335is clutch be enough to handle the torque capability of stage 3 turbos? You might reconsider a Spec 3+ (approx 670 tq).

Well Cedar kicked around this option when I fi st went to them too... in the end I decided to go ahead and go with the Spec 3+ because I knew I’d be getting Meth and pushing the turbos more. Right now they’re maxed out around 17ish on pump gas which for the PS2 high flows isn’t much at all.

I also Opted for the Spec steel flywheel...

I had already purchased all my parts when I went to Matt and although he did recommend a spec clutch I really didn't have the budget to get the spec clutch. I am not aiming to push 700whp with these turbos because I care more about longevity so I think the 335is one will hold ok for now.
