anyone else order from **********s?

i orders painted reflectors on march 15th >.> 58.95$ plus quoted 31$ shipping.... which i assumed was 2 my friggen door but apparently it gets stopped at customs?

mod bargains doesnt know where the item is.. usps doesnt know where the item is... so im left having to figure out where the hell it is.. i assume im going to have to call customs everyday till its there?]

anyone have advice for me? i rly hope i dont have to pick it up or pay extra..ughhh

since your item is >$50 you will get charged duty and 13% on the full amount - sorry, thats the way international shipments work unless seller declares a lower value

they will assess it and mail it to you or your local post office where you will pay to have it released.

Did they send it express or priority? Priority you gotta kinda just wait around for it to come, express has proper tracking.

You might not get taxed.. I just got a package that clearly said $250 value and no tax... I was quite surprised.

sometimes the tax assessment comes later - anyways, if you didn't get taxed thats awesome, we all know we pay enough taxes up here as it is

I thought it was USPS and FEDEX that sent it later and with USPS you pay the taxes before you pickup the package?

That's how it's worked for me in the past. We def do pay enough taxes... wish I bought some wheels while I was down in the states, prices up here suck haha.

Do you know the actual shipping date? I just hd something shipped USPS priority and it takes a while. IMO be patient rather than waste your time trying to track a package with no tracking info.

So you're 4 days ahead of me, ***IF*** same logic applies, you're right in the middle of the delivery window. Mine was a small package too, mountain bike fork rebuild kit.

10 business days is A LOT of time to get something shipped from the US to Canada. I bought items from various vendors and members in the US, and even Asia and it didn't take more than 7 days. You're reflectors are probably lost.

They usually send it to your door and you have to pay the taxes and duties at the door by cc, cash, etc. Sometimes you get lucky and don't have to pay anything. That's how is it in Quebec, i assume its the same for Ontario.

And btw you paid too much for painted reflectors, i think i paid $70 shipped for them!

Give it time. I can take around 4 weeks sometimes.

I have ordered many things from the states varying from 1 wk- 4wk shipped via USPS.

Also, customs won't be able to give you any information on packages (not really their job)
