Yeah, should have gone with them in the first place. Been nothing but 2 months of stress. I remember you warned me when my original set of lights were getting done, should have listened. Luckily set #2 was on Rev auto's tab.

Damn. That licks. I remember you telling me about your two sets of lights, so I didn't know which ones you had anymore
Hope they fix em, that way we can show them off to eachother when I get mine and we meet up.

Yeah man, I honestly hope your set turns out right, don't want you to have to go through the shit I have.

On the bright side, when we do finally meet up I'll have both my lights and my coils installed

Crossing my fingers they turn out good. Or else I'll be on their case at the shop.
Nice! Finally pulled the trigger on coils I see! Which ones you decide on?

What a copycat!! jk brochacho! Told you it's bang for the buck. Well, at least for me haha
Did you do your sec cat delete? Or do you have to do emissions anytime soon?
I don't even know for my car that's why that idea is on the back burner 'til next year haha

Yeah bro, for the money and performance, ST's can't be beat.

I decided to go with the coils first.
After I was gonna do the sec cat delete, but then it rained like a mofo and effed up my shittily done headlights! So I got to take care of these first before they become a bigger problem.

True that, have to take care of the headlights first because they are a must!
I can't wait to have mine! It's been like 3 weeks but it feels like 3months

Do you know when you get them back??

First thing to do when you get them back: wash car
Any condensation take those biatches back!

I was quoted $650, which is a lot considering I've already spent that and a little more on these headlights....but it's a lot of work. He has to undo all of Umnitza's mistakes, take out the orion v4's, install LS3's and do a proper reseal. It's worth it though...I either continue to let water leak into these lights, likely leading to a failure and potential replacement, or fix it now once and for all.

It's just bad timing though because I just purchased some coilovers a few days ago. I was considering having a shop do the install, but now it will most certainly be my bro and I doing the install to save money.
Keep us posted! I love DIYs even though it's lengthy but you can't really put a price on experience -- good or bad. If you do decide to take it to a shop, I would highly recommend SpeedElement in San Jose. They offer fairly competitive pricing as well.

Bavx quoted me $600 for ls3's, $$650 for driving down and install. Lets drive down next year? Haha I don't even remember dates anymore nor care, just another day. I feel your pain with umnitza. I was hyped up just as you then 2wks later, $1200 down the drain. You're going the right direction with bavx now.
Depending on when you decide to go but I'm always down to go down to SoCal if time permits.

Luckily I decided not to get that hood like Project Erica. I'll stick with my Vorsteiner one until I do an M3 conversion.

I've never seen an e92 version on an e90. To me it looks less bulky than the e90 vrs, couldn't pass up this offer since your hood is hard to come by.

Duy is the man! He's upgrading my LS3s next year some time when he gets back. I can definitely say from the past 2 years I have had no condensation issues whatsoever and I use those self serve pressure washing bays

Glad to hear!
I've been emailing him back and forth and he said he will personally work on mine, so I'm a happy camper.
