Needed some power steering washers, so I had my son stop by Concord BMW and pick up 4. He calls me and asks, "was it $2 or $2 each?" I told him that it shouldn't be more than $2 and that would be high. He said it was $22.58 and I told him to return it. I've bought them from Crevier BMW for $0.31 each.
1,671% markup over another dealers selling price? WTF If I were there I would have told them that they were crazy. Needless to say, I'll buy my parts elsewhere.
Oh yeah, cars too. It cost them a few pennies.

Isn't Crevier BMW in SoCal?

Concord BMW is in NorCal. I've bought a few things there BUT they charge full price for EVERYTHING. Not sure how a 31 cent part is priced at $5 there but it doesn't surprise me. Whenever I've bought anything there, I've taken advantage of their free, fruit, pastries and coffee in their "waiting room" before I left.

I've found that, if you have to go to the dealer, East Bay BMW in Pleasanton is a better place to buy parts. They will work w/you on the price and also offer a 10% discount to BMW CCA members. However, their waiting room and refreshment offerings at East Bay BMW pale in comparison w/Concord BMW's.

Yes, Crevier is in S.Cal. and they give very good internet prices. Thanks for the EB Ptown info but they kind of lost my business also.
Blew me and my wife off when we were looking for a car. I was looking for a sport and they had some but not what I wanted. He didn't want to talk about what I wanted or anything, just blew me off. I ended up buying both my BMWs from Weatherford, a 740 and 335. They give the discounts also.
