Saw this on the Telly. Has it been 'redone' or is it literally the same game ported over. I'd be worries you'd ruin your memories of the original now you're that 'bit' older.

I had it on the N64 and played it constantly while the wife (then girlfriend) was revising for her finals. Stopped me putting her off!
Great game that wasted many hours of my life. Also the last computer game I ever bought. Errmm - apart from Zelda. |

It was a great game on the hardware of the time but I read the Wii version is NOT the same game as the previous. Not sure which is true though, ///ajd seems certain it is the same.

Story line is similar but some of the locations have been modified (for the better) The characters are different. James Bond looks like Daniel Craig and not Pierce. Environments are destrutible. Graphics and controls have been tweeked. The end game is different too. It's now in Nigera and not Central America. IMO opinion its a better game. |

Ah I remember playing Goldeneye on the N64.
It was a great game, but for me, the best part was the 2 player element...i cant remember what the actual level was called, but trying to find and kill each other in the bunker (I think it was called that) was great fun |
