Question How do you repair this scratch??

Picture shown is a scratch I have on the trunk in titanium silver. It looks like it's through the clear coat from a flying rock. How do I repair this? Touch up paint then wet sand??

First try rubbing compound with a micro fiber cloth.

If you touch-up and then wet sand, you will sand away all the touch-up you just applied. If rubbing compound doesn't help, then you might need to get it repainted...silver colors don't usually touch-up well. You can try and see if you like it.

Wet sanding and polishing it out should get rid of that to the point where it will be barely noticeable, especially on a silver car.

from the pic, it looks more like a scuff mark than a deep scratch. Try claying it out first just in case it is a scuff
