P30FF

I recently installed my Cobb AP with the Stage 1 Sport program (non-ANC tune despite being in C). After installing I went and played with the 0-60 and data logging features. I was data logging on a run that took me through 3rd gear and I abruptly let off the gas at the end of 3rd and the car went into limp mode. The P30FF code came back... boost leak. I cleared the code and continued driving with no problems. Since the code I have been driving the car with a "spirited" style (I hope to get over 200mi on this tank of gas... ). Today on my way home from work I had the same thing happen. Off the throttle abruptly and a resulting P30FF. The car would go into limp mode back when I had my JB+ installed; did not matter wether 50% or 75% setting on the JB+. I don't know the codes from the JB+, but it was typically when I was racing the engine through higher gears and typically in high heat (110-125F... I lived in Yuma AZ.). With the JB+ letting off the throttle abruptly was not a precursor to the limp mode, but I'm assuming it was the same P30FF codes based on a previous SA's comment of "there are some weird boost related codes on your car."

Thoughts?

Car is completely stock right now. I was thinking about putting my DCI back on this weekend.

I have the data log for that run, but not sure if I stopped the data log before the code or after. I tried putting it into a graph format, but I'm an Excel tard! If you can do this message me so I can email it to you.

I've done some reading on that, but I am not quite sure on a solution. Clean them? Ensure they are connected? Upgrade?

Don't know if this would further help diagnostics, but the car has a slight pulsating feeling when first started. DV?

I attached the data log as a .zip as the .csv is not an acceptable file.

OP the only way to check DV's is to buy new ones. I had the same issue, ended up being a cracked end tank on the stock FMIC

How much for the DV?

Were you having these exact symptoms? My car is still CPO for another year, might be a good idea to see if BMW will cover it. But an aftermarket FMIC would be titts.

Could somebody graph the data for me? Thanks. :-)

Here are the data graphs.

Data Graph when I got the P30FF:

Tonight on the way home I was toying around on the highway when I got another half engine... This time the code was P2DED "Power management, closed-circuit protection"

Spark plugs have less than 1000mi on them.
Charge temp went to 161F on the last run.
Timing and IPW for all cyl are almost identical to Cyl 1 so I didn't graph the others.

Same as second graph, but a little more data...
