We missed you out there Steve. Next time then. CaptainInsano's car did not have NLS installed unfortunately. So it was discharging boost at each shift. Fortunately, I started the run in 3rd gear instead of 2nd which results in wheel spin (even with his 275mm R888 R compounds). So i only had to shift 3-4 and then again to 4-5. With NLS installed I suspect the car could have run a few mph faster.

It was great of you to join us in today's festivities! Thanks again for coming down and supporting the team effort

And lastly, sorry to hear what happened to Terry@BMS's. I'm sure his car will be back up and running strong soon.

It's being sent back, 517 didn't think it would have that much torque and went on the conservative side. Everyone is hoping it will be back in time (and holding) for the next event. Trust me, we all want to see the 6AT guys enjoy the big numbers, and Sikh335 is doing what he can to pave the way.

Absolutely man! This is awesome.

What’s odd though is when I talked to 517 two months ago they told me the build would be good for 700 Foot pounds. They told me they only have one "level of build" so it’s strange that they went/were able to go conservative. I just sent them an email to ask about the holding capacity again.

I’m going to have to get a build… but I’m not sure when that will be.

Does anyone know what flash Sihk was running in this built tranny? OEM, Alpina, 517-proprietary, or maybe Terry's ECU/TCU thing?

Point is it may not only be a matter of better internals if the TCU is still letting too much slip happen.

I believe there may have been confusion over the numbers being wheel vs. crank, and they didn't want to sacrifice drivability if they didn't have to. And like with stock transmission, you don't want to be right *at* the limit, so they are rebuilding it with a higher target in mind. I think this will be the solution, but as with all first timers, sometimes it takes a bit extra to dial in.

Races won:
C63 P31 with Headers and Tune by 1-2 cars
"stock(yeah right)" 2013 GTR by an inch or two
2013 GTR Cobb Tune+Downpipes by 1-2 cars
2013 F10 M5 with Tune+Exhaust by inches
2003 Cobra with tune and pulley by a bus
2007 E60 M5 Headers, tune, exhaust, intake and blah blah by a bus
2008 E60 M5 ESS Supercharged by a car
2003 M3 HPF Stage 1 by a car
2008 E93 ESS M3 by a bus
2013 Stock M5 got the jump on me by maybe 2 cars, but i reeled in and passed him by a nose before the cones.

Can't remember who else, but i put in work

The only losses i took came from the LP-560-4(by a car) who had the best run of the day against me trapping 156, a VFF600(wheel) CTS-V by a car, and a CLS63 Bi-Turbo with DPs, tune and exhaust(didn't have a chance in hell). I'm not counting a few losses where i lost by a hair because i took along a passenger No girlfriends at the next event...

Met up with Vishnu/FFTEC boys. Got a ride in their single turbo that trapped 163. Thing is stupid/scary fast. Hope to see you guys at the no fly zone, and maybe get a crack at one of your low boosting, 58mm singles, otherwise it will not be fun at all. Congrats to Wedge for winning the trophy! Proud of you buddy! Props to Shiv for dropping it... LOL just kidding

Oh oh oh! The last run of the day was against Adams E92 ESS M3(Longboarder). He jumped me pretty hard, but i reeled him in at the end. I really wish he would stop jumping people and just race fairly...

The only thing I hate about being jumped, as a joke, or not.. is the people at the finish line have no idea. They just see the results, not the beginning. So to them you look like you lost. I think in the future if someone deliberately jumps me off the cones I'm just going to shut it down 1/2 way.. make it obvious.

Btw, pleasure meeting you and you're friend. We were the ones standing outside Fri/Sat night by the X5 at the hotel in Kettleman. Sounds like you're car held its own out there! Congrats!

Hey thanks! Mine and Adams race was at the end of the day(last race of the day), so most of the people already had left. I actually jumped him on purpose so he could play catch up for once His car is still a tad faster, he was trapping 155-156, i was trapping 152-153

What's done to your car?
It sounds scary fast. Especially pulling on a supercharged V10!!
I can't wait to put more mods in mine and take It out to some events. Downpipes are next.

I raced your friends HPF M3 with my girl in the car, and he edged me out by a nose before the cones. Ran another HPF stage 1 M3 by myself, and got him by about a car. Those things are fast as hell for "stage 1" lol

Unless it’s out of date see his sig. RBs+fueling flash+ethanol+Meth=walking on just about everything that’s not from another planet (ie AMS GTR and the like). Nice runs out there Sick335, those are some very powerful cars you put a hurting on
