"Max" Button for the A/C

Today I tried pressing the "Max" button for the first time but nothing happened....

Isn't the button supposed to turn the heater on to full strength?

I think Max turns fan speed to max and closes outside air to cabin recirculation. It also takes normal user setting of feet, face, or window, and configures it to face vents only.
