HID Foglight Question- e92

Hey Guys,

I searched the forums but didn't really find a concrete answer to this. If I were to buy an HID kit that was 35W and H8 bulb fitment like this one, http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/12v-3...spagenameZWD1V.

If I were to install that unit from ebay would it still give me an error code on an e92? The only reason I ask is because all the specs check out, well really the only ones I'm looking at is the 35W.

Appreciate all the advice!

I'm pretty sure it will, unless you get the little warning delete module.

Yea it will throw a code since it is 35w. Our cars are 55w.

Couldn't we just buy a 55w kit or 50w kit and not have to get the canbus fix?

China, never trust international sales myself. Plenty of Cali dealers and even ones that have error relays. Check this one out. Get the slim one to save some serious weight and space too.http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/SLIM-...mZ290258092448

thanks for the info man. The link I included in my OP was just of a generic kit and sorry for the mistake I meant to link a 55w kit up. There are a few 55w slim kits fs on ebay, and my main question was really if the 55w kit would work without error and without the extra resistor...

Thanks for all the replies gentleman.
