I was told this morning by the bodyshop that the warranty on paint that is on plastic surfaces is only for 1 year? Anyone confirm or deny this?

I had a patch of clear coat repaired on the front bumper - They did it free because they initially told me it was covered under warranty.

That means front and rear bumpers, front wings and side skirts have only one year then.
