I'm tempted

I'm currently toying with the idea of selling my car. Had it 2 years now and getting the itch.
This car has been advertised for some time now.
I'm tempted to go view it.
What you reckon get it for?

It's been advertised for some time as it's well over priced for the mileage and the fact it's modded. Worth 21.5 MAYBE.

Just get yours remapped and spend some money refreshing it. It'll be nearly as quick and get double the miles per gallon

Don't know anything about the value but if you can afford the running cost's why not or maybe a factory spec m3

beacause a m3 is a m3. its just not about the power

I don't know. But I'm bound to support the big d

What about it are you bored with? Cosmetics? Drive? Exhaust note?

Why not get a BCS exhaust system, and match that up with the remap and Quaife LSD? Some new tyres? Replace the shocks and springs? There's loads you could do to make your car infinitely more fun.

That said: If the M3 itch needs to be scratched: Scratch it. I'd be wanting one with a warranty though personally..

These are all good points but you can refresh a car all you like but unless you totally change it and spend serious money its still no substitute for a different car and ultimately doesn't scratch the itch just postpones it.

Personally I'd say like others have if you can deal with the crap economy go for it, but seriously the even if you think it won't matter, 220 miles from a tank doesn't get easier to live with.

I have driven a lot of other variants of e92s and owned a modded 335i and I can defiantly confirm the M3 driven correctly will scratch any petrol heads itch without modification.
