Installed!! These are an awesome option if you are going to stay OEM, and they look pretty sweet too!

The F10 uses the same rotors...maybe one of the F10 rears has the same size (336mm) as ours?
I had an F10 in the shop and it looks like the rears just might fit. Im gonna see if I cant get his car in one day and swap it over and see if it works.

I had a thought the other day in the shower. They might 'fit', but they will not be hubcentric.

E9x use 72.5mm hubs, while the 5 series uses 74mm if Im not mistaken...so the rotors might not be perfectly centered.

That makes sense... While two weeks in i have no issues, this would confirm why they seemed to be not as snug as i would have expected when putting the locking bolt into the hub. I noticed there was a very tiny amount of wiggle room. when freely spinning the mounted rotor on the hub before re-installing the brakes and tire it also looked like it may have not been "hub centric", kind of like rolling a lopsided ball (I hope you realize this example is VERY extreme! ) but of course were talking about maybe .75mm slack on each side around the rotor and it was so small I thought maybe it was just in my head (i was only eyeballing it, nothing genuinely accurate).

I've driven on these for two weeks now at speeds up to 120 and have not noticed any odd vibrations, rubbing, problems braking etc. So I dont know if the 1.5mm may be negligible if mounted and aligned properly on the hub before locking the screw in, but dont take my word for it....

Maybe someone will make some hubcentric ring adapters?

I don't know if ive seen enough interest in using these rotors around the community for a company to warrant a dev and production of these.

No, they are technically made for the Z4 35is

Keeps BMW warranty. Great option for daily driver.

Cons = Heat transfer not as good on track as full floating 2 piece rotors. Have to replace entire rotor -- disk not removable/replaceable. Not available for rear.

Doc: Did you use oe or aftermarket pads w/these rotors?
Tischer's website says install on 335i at your own risk. Any fitment issues?

I used them with CoolCarbon pads for several months with great results!

The reason tischer says this is because technically (and i believe this was posted earlier) the Z435 is a slightly smaller hub size, therefore this rotor may not be perfectly "hub centric". When I installed mine i noticed there was a slight amount of wiggle room with the rotor on the before cranking down the rotor set screw.

Upon install I would suggest you be sure to carefully align the hub and make sure it is as centered as humanly possible before fully locking down that rotor nut which holds it in place. After doing this I had absolutely ZERO issues with the rotor, vibrations, road noise, etc......

what they say is more of an err of caution so they they are not held liable.....

no problem. As long as your are competent and cautious (don't just slap them up there) you should be able to get great results.

The Z4is and 335 have the same front hub size. They both have the same bearing and carrier part numbers now. My stock front 335 rotors have the same slack if you want to call it that.

I just did some digging in realoem.com. Here is some interesting stuff:

Z4 35is front disk: 34116782593
Z4 35is front disk Dimensions: 348x30
Price: $170.83

Z4 35is rear disk: 34216782607
Z4 35is rear disk dimensions: 324x20
Price: $96.42

335i Front disk: 34116770729 - Up to 04/2001
335i Front Disk: 34116855000
335i Front Disk Dimensions: 348x30
Price: $138.22

335i Rear Disk: 34216764655 - Up to 05/2001
335i Rear Disk: 34216855004 -
335i Rear Disk Dimensions: 336x22
Price: $102.94

So basically, we can upgrade the front disks from Z4 35is for around $33! Cool!

...and there is actually no point of using the rear disks from Z4 35is since they are actually smaller!

Can someone check to see if the offset and diameter of the rear rotor hat on the 335i is the same as the Z4 35is?

All of the front brake parts are the same between the 335 and Z435/is. The caliper carrier is the same also so rotor offset is the same.

I think this has been done already; the rear rotors are not interchangable between the two models.
