I had a thought the other day in the shower. They might 'fit', but they will not be hubcentric.

E9x use 72.5mm hubs, while the 5 series uses 74mm if Im not mistaken...so the rotors might not be perfectly centered.

That makes sense... While two weeks in i have no issues, this would confirm why they seemed to be not as snug as i would have expected when putting the locking bolt into the hub. I noticed there was a very tiny amount of wiggle room. when freely spinning the mounted rotor on the hub before re-installing the brakes and tire it also looked like it may have not been "hub centric", kind of like rolling a lopsided ball (I hope you realize this example is VERY extreme! ) but of course were talking about maybe .75mm slack on each side around the rotor and it was so small I thought maybe it was just in my head (i was only eyeballing it, nothing genuinely accurate).

I've driven on these for two weeks now at speeds up to 120 and have not noticed any odd vibrations, rubbing, problems braking etc. So I dont know if the 1.5mm may be negligible if mounted and aligned properly on the hub before locking the screw in, but dont take my word for it....

I used them with CoolCarbon pads for several months with great results!

The reason tischer says this is because technically (and i believe this was posted earlier) the Z435 is a slightly smaller hub size, therefore this rotor may not be perfectly "hub centric". When I installed mine i noticed there was a slight amount of wiggle room with the rotor on the before cranking down the rotor set screw.

Upon install I would suggest you be sure to carefully align the hub and make sure it is as centered as humanly possible before fully locking down that rotor nut which holds it in place. After doing this I had absolutely ZERO issues with the rotor, vibrations, road noise, etc......

what they say is more of an err of caution so they they are not held liable.....

The Z4is and 335 have the same front hub size. They both have the same bearing and carrier part numbers now. My stock front 335 rotors have the same slack if you want to call it that.

All of the front brake parts are the same between the 335 and Z435/is. The caliper carrier is the same also so rotor offset is the same.

I think this has been done already; the rear rotors are not interchangable between the two models.
