Loving my new Pilot Super Sports!!! Thanks Eric for the advice. If you guys are in the market for new tires, these are highly recommended. It's like going from a payless shoe to some New Balances! These things ride amazingly, very quiet, and eventhough they are still new, I can feel how sticky they are! I just hope they last 20K + miles. Also, they are the same size as my old Falkens (266/30/19), but are much beefier! I had to remove my 10mm spacers to prevent rubbing. I may tryout 5mm spacers, does anyone have a set that they are not using?

glad you like it Will... yea for my setup, i used to run 15mm spacer front, with 10mm less on the tire. now i dont even need to run spacer with just a little sunk in. yes the beefy setup is what PS2/PSS famous for.
try to do a few aggressive corners before pulling home into garage, you will hate how the smell off the tires =) hint, sticky sticky and soft compound. i wont suggest to run 5mm since 5mm is literally non hub-centric. and you are running the risk of having a shallow hub lip surface between the hub and the wheel. i rather not running any in that case. you feel more of the "road" in these PSS, and more confidence during corners.

Yea I was surprised at the rubber smell when I got in the car this morning....those things are quite potent.
My steering wheel vibration and pull to the right is gone now...must have been those shitty tires.

i rode in my friend's Porsche with RE-11 and i could feel they are very sticky too... he tracked his porsche at laguna seca in those re-11 and he was very happy with them. um....... funny that i have a very slightly vibration that road force balance cannot fix. the road force machine showed "0" reading which means the balance is perfect, but on the road, i do feel a very slight vibration.... and the tech showed me how when the wheel/tire started spinning on the machine, he pointed out there's a slight wobble on the tire and blame on the tire was defect and maybe the wheel is defect. i was like "that's bullshit!" and he was like any aftermarket wheels on the bmw will get vibration just a matter of very minor or very noticeable because bmw is a very sensitive car.... oh well whtever....

Might want to consider changing your bushings. I'm at 63K miles and not sure how much longer they will "last" (meaning worn out but still functional). I want to eventually put some M3 polyurethane bushings in. If we have enough interest, maybe we can split the bill for the rental tool from HP.

Safelite did mine for $260 installed for a rain sensor shield. Give them a call, I've always had good luck with them.
