Just ordered E92- tough colour choice
After many weeks test-driving most of the new E92 coupe range (and lurking on this board!), finally decided on an engine and options:
330i (N52 engine)I drove the 335i and 335d, loved the torque but couldn't live with the jiggly sports suspension. I thought they were WAY more comfortable than some of the current BMW range (530 Sport- almost shook my fillings out), but they just weren't quite comfortable enough- maybe I'm getting too old. I found the standard suspension in the 330i/330d to be a perfect compromise between ride comfort and driver appeal. Choosing an exterior/leather colour combination was more difficult than the engine choice. First choice was Montego Blue, but saw a demonstrator in this colour on Saturday and it looked too unsubtle for my taste. Next choice was Titanium Silver, but my current BMW is this colour and I wanted something different. Finally settled on Monaco Blue with Jade Grey leather- I think this will look classy, but haven't seen this combo in the flesh nor even in photos yet. Anyone here got this combo? Any pictures? Have got until mid-Feb to change my mind, car should be delivered early April. Starting to get impatient already |

Hi and welcome to e90post
Monaco blue and jade grey should be a wonderful combo. Please peruse the e90post picture gallery to see e90s/e92s in various colors. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1612

Hi and welcome. You won't be disappointed with the Jade - my last cars were all black inside (black leather) and the Jade makes a really nice change and a light and airy interior. Check out pics of my Montego blue/jade here:
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=40193 I find the 18" alloys style 189 and non sports suspension are perfect. To be honest, I would even consider going for the 19"s if I were to choose again, and I don't think it would affect ride too much. Gordon.

Welcome on board! Saw a Monaco in person, I personally think the actual colour is much darker than any of the pics in the forum, but still a nice combo. Check this one out, this is the closest to the real thing that I have seen so far.

Nice colour combination. The first colour I saw 'in the metal' was the Monaco blue and it convinced me to go to a showroom and take a test drive.
Personally I have no issue with the sports suspension and actually specced it on my 330i. I found the standard suspension too soft and wanted the sharper handling. But I was used to an RX8 and have driven a number of sports cars and sports coupes over the years with a firm ride, so it's not really an issue. In fact I find the BMW much more forgiving than previous cars, even with the sports suspension!
