When you're running more than twice the boost and so much lighter, this makes sense.

No one ever looked better losing, though.

But then again Traction issues with these High Hp FWD....Been there done that with my old N/A B18 civic and both my K20A2 RSX-S...FUN but only doing rolls...I hate launching them.

I give props to the civic. At the end of the day, it just might fall apart at those speeds because it simply was not built to handle it.

what about the m3? It might fall apart too with 200 hp more than stock. I don't see a problem if the civic has been beefed up. Which is more than likely...

200 hp more than 414 stock hp is not as severe as 6-7 times more hp than stock Civic hp..

We dont know maybe this civic has 300hp-350hp
A stock SIR II comes with a 160hp B16A2....Just saying...I just cant stand the kind of people who says it's still a civic....an M3 is still a 3 series an entry level bmw...so is my 135...it's all relative and a choice...some people like to sink 30K in an EVO ,100K on a muscle car...20K engine mods in a supra-stang....Not that I have something against bmw but some people need to get over it....
Some people see civic's like shitboxes...Hell I'd rather drive a Civic Si than a 328I..my 0.02 cents

How did you guess 6-7 times more HP? Because the Civic is so much lighter than the M3, it might only have had about 400.

THe vid said it had 600 hp which is nearly 6 times that of the original Civic DX's 106 hp...

I'd like to see both cars on a track like Laguna Seca... That much HP to the front tires on a track FTL...

I gotta give credit to the civic, just because he doesn't have fast and furious stickers on his car. I want to see a rolling start from 0-60, not a 100km-250km run. Never the less, that civic is damn fast, but I would still rather want the M3 at the end of the day.

600 for the M3...it says nothing about the civic..it only says Civic 15psi....the car seems to be stripped...a 300 hp civic can beat that m3.

Those Civics only weight about 1800 lbs. 1800 lbs less than the E92 M3.

There are certain platforms that respond REALLY well to mods and yield incredible performance/$ ratio. civic is one of them. Although high hp civics are only usable in straight line and sticky tires, it's a fun toy to have for less than 10k regardless.

M3 might be slower than the civic, but if you think about it, it's only 50% increase in its original hp. Considering it's closed deck block design, one could turbo it and raise the hp considerably more, all while outhandling and outclassing the civic.

Think of it this way,

A modded supra, vette will annihilate almost anything on the road, yet it's always one's dream to have a clean GT3.

In this race, civic beat supercharged m3. big deal
evo with a fp red/race gas, e85 would have done the same, or anything for that matter.
It's only a race and doesn't change the fact that supercharged m3 > turbo civic.

+1

I find it funny how people on youtube would prefer that civic over the M3 or a lambo and such.
They all must be mental

First of all, I love how any dissenting opinion is instantly rebuffed by the word "hater." Great argument. Second of all, no credit is due to any jack-ass that watched "The Fast and the Furious" too many times and engages in reckless street racing. There are too many other people around and the people that are gonna get hurt are somebody's wife or kid - take it to a track if you want to race. And finally, yes, it's still a Civic. People laugh at him when he drives by and they don't give a shit how fast his car is (believe it or not, that actually doesn't matter to most people). Fucking ricers...
