Yeah, these are perfect for beaters, as long as you are ok with the fuel economy. The panther platform is built like a tank (drives like one too).

Wish you the best on the sale, but this is going to be a very tough sell on this forum. This type of car is the polar opposite of what a BMW driver is going to be looking for, even for a winter beater. It should sell quick at the right price on craigslist.
