Noticable engine squeaking under low load *VIDEO INSIDE*
This morning starting up the car i noticed a sweak coming from the engine bay. When I drive i notice this squeaking/whistling noise during low speeds when i accelerate or apply the gas.
i hope it isn't the turbos. might be the wastegate or diverters? My car is bone stock btw, and has 1,800 miles. well here's the video for you guys to hear what im talking about. |

Sounds like wastegate.
If it's wastegate, no harm for your engine. Just take it into dealer whenver you have time.

So I checked in with my service adviser today and he took a look at it. He says its probally the pulleys. I'm bringing it in tomorrow morning for further investigation. Hope he is right!

Yeah, it doesn't sound like other wastgate clicking noises from the vids posted on the site. I would go with pulleys or belts.

Update-
I got a call back from my service adviser today and he told me that the problem is still unsolved. Basically they intially thought it was the belts so they replaced them. The sound was still audible. and they said it was coming from one of my turbos. He told me they have to get the technicians to check it out again. he said hopefully its something loose that holds the turbo housing down, but as of right now they don't know. Not lookin good. Any ideas? |

I hope you're right. I asked my sales rep if any other cars had my particular problem and he said I was the first one to actually have this kind of noise!
I told him how people hear ticking sound generated by the wastegate, which he said he has seen before, but not anything like mine yet.. yikes! |
