Question: 325i Owners Only Please
Hello...I just wanted to get an idea about the chrome exhaust tips (i.e. to get them, not get them). If you are a 325i owner or soon to be owner, please vote. Thanks.

If the pipes get rusty they will get covered. If they are stainless, they will stay as is, or may get polished if I get any spare time.

I saw the single, oval shaped chrome exhaust tip for the diesels. The large diameter of the ellipse seems to be the same distance as the two tail pipe's of the gas models. It had a big lip, so the two pipe's might barely show. I was wondering if one of those could be slipped over the 325 and fastened if purchased from overseas. Those from outside the US who've seen them in person, what's your opinion?

I think it made a big difference in the look of the rear end. A must imo.
Also you can take them off if you need to give them a good cleaning.

Hmmm.....looks like about 80 percent of you already have them or will get them. Did you guys buy factory and how much did you pay for them?? It seems like $40 plus $10 shipping seems to be the norm around here...

I was toying with the idea of having them bead-blasted and then powder coated in black or some shade of blue-greeen to go with the Arctic. Might wrap them in electrical tape to get an idea of how it would look.
