Feeler: BlueFlame Exhaust to fit 335i E9X

Hi,

I have purchased the exhaust from the the ebay store couple of weeks ago. I have got round to unpack it and attempt to fit, but never used on the car.

The ebay listing state it should fit E9x 335i. The exhaust do require cutting during fitting. (please beware)

The Ebay Listing could be find here:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3307752205...ht_2257wt_1163

I could pack it up for courier, but not sure how much it would cost.
Potential buyers could pick up from mine or I do travelled down the M1 every 2 weeks at weekend .

Price: £370 onvo , as i bought it for 399 from ebay few weeks ago.

Any Questions, let me know, its a well made exhaust, selling due to car may sell in couple of months

Cheers
Sam

Garage List
I had a blue flame on my old RX8 and it was very good. I'm pretty tempted at that price as well. GLWS

Hi Sam,

The eBay listing says 'direct replacement' as though not cutting/modification is required - do you know what needs changing?

Also, you mention coming down the M1 every now and then. Whereabouts are you coming from/based?

Thanks
Matt

You'll cut just behind the axle Matt.
This is normal on the 335i, most retrofits are like this even Bastuck.

I did mine, it wasnt hard but you need to get the car on a lift really to get the reciprocating saw access.
A garage would charge about £60 to do it.

The oem boxes can be rejoined as sale time with a simple sleeve (ebay for £15 a pair).

I have used BF a couple of times on other marques, fitment was good and sounded excellent. Built heavy too.

Lose the crappy clamps they use and buy some band clamps - like on your intercooler.

Hi matt,

as m1bjr said below, its require cutting behind the axle, i have got the fitting instruction from the seller (it has a MV sport stamps on the doc however. I am not sure if they ask blueflame to made the box for them or not).

I am waiting a fitting quote from a local garage, see if they will take my job at a reasonable price. As the F1 Autocentre cannot complete the job, ending up fitting my stock system back.

I am based in nottingham, going down south every other 2 weeks.

Give me a PM or if you require more pictures or have any questions, will try my best to answer
