Help: Best Service Department in Atlanta?
Global Imports is striking out with me as I type. Which dealership has the best service department? Which should I avoid?
Thanks for the help. |

Talk to Scott at United in Duluth. He seems pretty cool and has let my exhaust slide... and pretty much said he'd turn a blind eye.

hahaha I have been experiencing this as well..........
Not only does my car come back with grease stains all over my beige dakota leather but I am getting sick of the enterprise rental cars. I dropped the enterprise rental car off with the service dept. leaving the keys with the front desk only to get a call in the am that the car had been hit and had $900 worth of damage! They are trying to blame it on me when it was clearly hit after I dropped it off and gave the service department posession of the car. |

I think it varies with the service advisor or with time. I have heard horrible stuff about Global but after several incompetent dealings from United @ Roswell, where I bought my car, I had excellent service at global.

My suggestion is this... be on a first name basis with your SA and always meet with your tech and tip them. A first name basis/tipping your tech is critical IMHO. It keeps you from being lost as just a number in the large customer base of the volume stores.
Besides, It has been my experience that a lil tip can go a long way in overlooking certain aftermarket goodies and providing discretionary good faith warranty coverage. |

+1 for SA Scott @ United Duluth, & Walter as the Tech. I know both personally, and they're the only two that touch my car, and have always provided outstanding service.

I go to Nalley of Decatur, everything is gravy so far. Only thing is, they have not gave me a 335 as a loner, like i requested. No big deal.

Went to United in Duluth today for service. I requested Scott per everybody's recommendations. Service was fast and Scott was a really cool guy. I would recommend them as well!

United BMW is pretty good.
South Atlanta BMW does not give a flying f' about mods, as long as the mod didn't cause the problem you're good. I've had service done at United Roswell, Global, and South Atlanta BMW, Global sucks. |

I live near Global and bought my 335i at S. ATL due to the arrogant attitude of the sales guy at Global. Thought I would give Global service dept. a try since I live close by. Recently took my car in for annual mx. After waiting 20 minutes next to my car, while several people pulled up after me and were attended to, I finally backed the car up and left. Headed to BMW S. ATL for now on. I will make the drive to avoid Global. Their loss as I am a car guy and will purchase many more vehicles in the future. Business 101, take care of the customer!

I go to Nalley and the 2 times I've been in there they got the job done. There was a miscue a while back and a certain cosmetic part that was supposed to be replaced wasn't, but nbd. Oddly enough my first SA decided he wanted to live on a sailboat in the Florida Keys so they gave me another one and I'm meeting him in July. They've been good to me so far, but I'll be moving the Kennesaw State in August so I may switch to United since they're closer and everyone seems to love them, correct?
