How much is an O2 sensor replacement?
What have you guys paid for a single sensor replacement and labor? My dealer is attempting to charge me around $900 and that seems insane to me. I just wanted to see what I should be expecting.
Thanks. |

yeah but changing the o2 sensors is a pain the in ass...if you take it to a shop they will probably charge you at least 3 hours of labor...maybe 2.5. i just did my downpipes twice lol...and the second time i did it in about 2.25 hours. but changing the o2 sensors mean you have to pull those out wherever they are attached to the engine.

You do not need to remove the downpipes to replace an O2 sensor. IMO the pre-cat o2 sensors are a REAL pain in the ass but they can be reached by dropping the steering rack and disconnecting it from top. IMO an hour labor if they know what they're doing. If they want to be by the book, 2-3 hours labor is possible.
