? I'm just in Stanford for 8 weeks, then have 3-4 weeks before coming back to LI. Spending some time researching/developing E90 engine systems sounds like a good bit of fun, also I'd love to stick around in cali for as long as possible

can't wait to see this update !!

net - net, what would happen if you use higher octane +93 with the upgraded fuel system?
What would the gains be?

Sorry guys... got slammed with work this afternoon. And i'm being forced to go out now. Part 2 will have to wait until I get time to finish it. Hopefully later this weekend. About 80% done with the article so it shouldn't take too long.

Maybe you answered this, but wouldn't this apply to N55 cars as well? I would think that they probably share several components.

All of this will apply to the n55 as well. But the stock turbo, unlike the stock turbos on the n54, don't quite have the airflow capacity to push the fuel system to its limit. So until we release an upgraded turbo for the n55, the stock fuel system is more than adequate.

I have all the fuel flow data which is logged in terms of lbs/hr. Knowing an engines brake specific fuel consumption (BSFC), you can get a pretty close estimate of what kind of BHP that translates to.

Exactly, these innovations, the effort and support is what sealed my decision to go to Vishnu (from Dinan S2). Just a great bunch of really smart guys !
