Went to the drag strip
Ran slow:
15.4 @ 93.5mph with a 2.5 60ft. Maybe if I didn't dump the clutch at 4000rpms I could keep the wheelspin in check, and maybe if I wasn't on 19s, I could have had a higher trap speed, and maybe if I didn't call a deserving person a moron, I wouldn't have been banned. You live and learn. |

you were banned? I was wondering where you were.
trap speed isn't bad. That tells you more about how much power you're making. the 15.4 is probably related to your technique - it turns out, drag racing actually isn't all that easy. At least, not being fast and consistent. |

15.40 @ 92.33 MPH with a 2.33 60-foot time With all the mods listed in my signature 14.95 @ 94.38 MPH with a 2.39 60-foot time Your 1/4 mile ET lives and dies with your 60-foot time. You have enough trap speed to run mid to high 14's if you can master the launch. . . if! What is the elevation of your track? Mine is about 1,250 feet above sea level. Now if you only had the gearing from an automatic and an LSD. . . I'm also curious to know how much your 19-inch wheels weigh.

From what I saw, the wheels are about 29lbs or so for the wheels another 25lbs for the tires. So, some smaller wheels could help.
I'm in FLA, so I'm at sealevel. |

cut your 60 ft to 2.0-2.1 on street tires and you'll be high 14s.
My old integra used to run 14.7 at 94 mph with a 2.2 60 ft time. 14.02 at 98 mph after some more mods with a 2.1 60 ft. That time made me mad, lol. |

I took my car to the local 1/8th track years ago for shits and grins. I ran a 9.2 the second run, and put the car away and watched after that because I felt it was too abusive. That's with the 3.38 lsd and other basics.
For some reason I never felt like autocross or hpde was as abusive to the car as trying to launch it at a sticky drag strip. Technique I'm sure.

TheAxiom For some reason, I remembered you as having totaled your car . Did you end up getting a new one? Or is my memory just completely wrong here?
