Adding to this, if you guys upgrade your angel eyes, what do you use for your actual headlight bulbs? HIDs to match the white?

are your cars pre-lci or lci models? I have lux v3's on my lci and the actual headlight bulbs are white by default, but the stock angel eyes were yellow - installing the lux led's made everything matching white, which i love.

had lux for about 6 months so far, no problems at all. installation was kind of a pita because my hands are big lol.

I have a lci model, but with Halogen headlights. Are the bulbs actually white and the rings make it look yellow?

There are some pictures of LUX in daylight that were recently posted. It's not that noticeable since the halogen housing sort of color matches the LEDs and provide absolutely no contrast to make the LUX stand out. Looks absolutely outstanding in dusk though.

Unfortunately I dont have pics either (they are difficult to take), but I just installed LUX angel eyes for halogen on my 09 LCI 328i and they look awesome. I did a ton of research and am really happy with Lux so far. Much brighter than stock and the color is great. I also replace my headlights with the the MTEC and they match and look great together.

Not impressed with them at all. They we aren't even as bright at 2011+ is models. The right one stopped working after only a day. Maybe I got a bad batch but IMO, a total waste of money and time. LED is the way to go.

I haven't even seen any other replacements for E90 LCI Halogens, these headlights specifically seem to have a different type of angel eye than almost every other BMW does.

As far as the headlights go, it's not recommended to run HIDs in halogen housings, though IMO if you want to you could try it and adjust the reflector as I know people with them and they don't blind everyone as everyone thinks they do.

I decided to go the easier route and ordered a set of MTEC 4350k for the headlights, I can't wait to see how it comes out. It probably matches those LUX even better.
