Help with springs

I want to lower my 2007 335i e90 but don't know what springs I should get. I want to lower it around 1.5-2.0 inches but I'm afraid it will rub. If anyone else has tips or had lowered their e90 with springs I would appreciate help, thanks

I ran the eibach pro kit springs and they were good, but I wanted to go lower so switched to H&R sport springs, lowered the front more but the rear stayed about the same and the ride sucked(harsh), So I finally installed Eibach pro street S coil-overs and they are awesome!
You will not rub with any of those springs, but you should consider shocks to match whichever springs you get

I also went with h&R sports. Lowered plenty for my taste (Have to be very careful everywhere I go with the front lip). Don't like the ride as mentioned above, so going with coilovers (this weekend install).

Ride quality will suffer with just lowering springs, not to mention you'll wear the shock absorbers out much faster; the stock ones are not designed for the stiffer lowering springs.

How many miles on your car? You might be due for new shocks anyway ...

Look into some Koni Sports (aka Yellow) shock absorbers and then the spring of your choice; H&R Sports should get you the drop you're looking for.

Or go the coilover route and get something like KW V1, which is a matched shock absorber and spring set with adjustable ride height.

If you really want to lower your car THAT much, you'll have to get coilovers. I don't know of any aftermarket springs that drop the car that much and if there are, I'm sure ride quality sucks.

what about eibach sportline or h&r race springs? you can also change spring perches to get lower.

My car has a little over 50,000 miles on it.

You lose too much bump travel with those springs imho

You're due for shocks anyway. Add lowering springs to those underdamped shocks and your ride will suck. Look at coilovers if you want to lower more than an inch
