Found an EZ way to keep tips Clean

Normally I go about 30-40 miles and I get the black soot inside the tips.

I know most of us here like to keep that clean.

Anyway I'll cut down to the nitty gritty if you want to know how to improve that cleanliness to about 300 miles before things start getting dirty.

Armoral Wheel Protectant

I said what the hell its metal right?

This stuff works great.

I'd post up pictures of before and after, but it truly just looks the same after a few hundred miles.

That stuff does work pretty well, I wouldn't have thought to try it on the tips. Good info!

I wouldn't think wheel protectant could handle the temps.

Interesting.

Anyone else try it, just looking to hear some more reviews.

Im still pleased with the results. I just apply a quick splash after I clean the car, and it really increases the longevity of the cleanliness.

If it rains I noticed it doesnt last as long for obvious reasons, however I just did a 200 miles trip and mine are still clean looking.

I bought some last weekend and will likely try it out when I wash my car this weekend. I'll let you know mid next week once I've had a few days of driving to test it out.

Actually the first 2-3 inches inside the tips and outside.

The soot from the exhaust has a hard time sticking to the inside and outside of the tips. Similar to the way the brake dust cant stick to the wheels.

Ive been cleaning the inside of my exhaust tips every week since i bought the car, so they look brand new

I'm curious what the catless people see in using this product the way I've portrayed since they put out a lot more soot.
