Stain on my seat....Help!!

So, i let my parking garage wash my car. Mistake #1, but they usually do a nice job. Plus, my 335 is leased...haha. This time, they must have spilled something they were using (some kind of cleaner) on my seat. I've tried leather cleaner and it wont come out. Any thoughts? What can i do to get this out? Do you think the dealer will care when i return it off my lease? Thanks!!

Damn, that 2nd picture looks like something has ripped the top finish off the leather; the pattern is all gone. Is that bare unfinished leather, or something like glue stuck on the leather?

Agreed. First picture looks like gum stuck and spread around. Second picture looks worse, like someone spilling a very harsh chemical that essentially ate the leather and dye. If the latter is the case, you're going to need to take it to a professional to see what can be done.

If it's gum or something else sticky, there are some tricks that might work for you.

WTF kind of crap could do that? Definitely looks like the leather got eaten away. Take it to a pro, but it's jacked.

That doesn't look repairable. I'd recommend getting new leather from BMW - I believe they sell the leather and it's probably not too hard to install but it's probably not cheap either. If it were me, I'd also take the car to a good upholstery shop to get their assessment. Might be a great opportunity to go two-tone - black seat inserts would look great w/saddle!

If you wanted to do this yourself, you could send a patch of the leather to leatherique and they will create a color matched leather paint for you.

You would have to cut a small piece and send it to them, I believe 1 inch x 1 inch. You could get it from under the seat.

Two tone would not be a bad idea but I think he mentioned the vehicle he has is a leased vehicle.
