328i @ 106k miles, upgrading to TRW M3 susp. bits, what else?

I have an '07 328i E90 at 106k miles and will upgrade to https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/bmw...e93-bmwmcaktfr

What else should I do suspension wise?
I have the front non-sport sway bar as well, which bushing should I go with?
I plan to replace but still use OEM engine mounts and going to use 335is transmission mounts.

This is just to replace and give my daily driver longevity.

If you want to be thorough, it's time for shocks and struts. I personally wouldn't worry about the sway bar, but it's up to you. Diff bushings would be high on my priority list if they haven't been done already. Good luck!

shocks and struts are okay, about 60k miles old, I'll give it another 40k miles

diff bushings even on an AT car?

If there are no signs of wear it may not be necessary, but I've found these to make a drastic difference in how the car drives and I think it would be worth the cost if doing a complete refresh.

Definitely consider the M3 front swap bar. HUGE difference in reducing body roll.

Optional but you could consider replacing the tie rods since you'll need an alignment anyway. I recommend Lemforder, avoid all things Meyle.

Are the 335is transmission mounts firmer? I've heard of using E46 M3 mounts as an upgrade too.

If you want to upgrade your front sway bar, FCP sells the 27mm Whiteline bar for cheap:

How about the H&R front sway bar?

Good call on Lemforder tie rods and I did order them but have not yet installed them. https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/bmw...er-32106765235

With the front sway bar (regardless of brand) would you say yes to this https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/bmw...ap-31306781545 ?

I don't remember the thread details why 335is was recommended but the thread convinced. This was decided more than a year ago and just haven't made the change yet.

Thanks for the tip

Haven't read any reviews for people using them. I did have a set of red engine mounts (I forget the brand, but it's the ones that's always recommended on the forum). I'm not pushing anything past 190hp anyway so no point IMO. I guess I'm just looking for a performance comfortable ride.

Check your upper strut mounts, the bearing can go bad and the rubber mount itself can crack.

End links and tie rod ends as needed.

Sway bar bushings and rear bits hold up longer, but inspect and replace as needed.

If there is excessive movement or they are cracked, for sure replace them.

Did my upper mounts with struts. One of the two was shot; it spun unevenly and grinded a bit. The car felt MUCH better immediately after I finished install!
