south florida service advisor recommendation

Hi All,

I have a battery cable recall i need to do and i think my hpfp is finally failing...along with a nasty wastegate rattle. I already had my software updated so i'm guessing i'll actually need to have the hpfp replaced this time. does anyone know a SA in the Fort Lauderdale area who will be understanding about my catless dp's? I didn't install them until 56K and the car now has 65K. I can remove everything but the intercooler and dp's before i bring the car in for service. I should also note that once i remove the tune, the dp delete will come with it...so the car is going to throw exhaust codes.

Glad this thread came up. I want to try to get my turbo's done under the warranty/recall thing. I guess I'll give him a call.

Thanks guys for the info. If i remember well The turbos are under warranty until 80k miles, what if we get waste gate rattle at 82k, would there be a way/luck to have them replaced?

They dont care about exhaust mods is what Nick told me at pompano vista as long as you dont have bigger turbos you should be fine there

Car is in thru Nick. Still waiting for the diagnosis but i was upfront with my mods and he was cool with everything and made sure to send my car to a tech who was also mod friendly. Great recommendation!

yeah fortunately mine had a little rattle from when i got the car at 50k and they noticed it the last time i was in for service so he said once it gets worse just bring it in and they'll swap them out... kind of excited

Yes, I was just there yesterday and Nick was telling about some other FBO 335 that comes in with their diff welded.
JB4 is easy enough to remove though, so I would remove it in case they need to pull ECU diags and send them to BMW.
