MSRP fully loaded would be around $105k if you don’t negotiate or get any discounts. Most people are getting at least $10k off list.

Why not get multiple "fun" cars for that money?

what makes a car fun for you?

given your f type r purchase and your thoughts about the z06
sounds like you value looks and power
z06 is prob a good choice for you

but if you appreciate small size , visibility and precision then gt4

I really like the New Honda Civic Type R! would be my first choice. Looks like a very fun car in my opinion. Heard good reviews about it. I would suggest a BMW Z4M Coupe or Roadster too, extremely fun car!

Sorry to hear. I know that there are forum members who have or have had them and love them. It's a car I personally lust after, but I admit do not knowing much about them other than the little I've read.

And I'll look for GT4's but there is not PDK version is there?
There's no 981 GT4 with PDK, but the 982 GT4 coming next year might be available with PDK. However, I am not up to date with the latest news, so its possible that has been ruled out. The car should be making its debut this auto show season (sometime between now and the New York Auto Show next March), so if its not known yet, it will be soon. You'd probably want to start trying to get a deposit down now though, because I think it goes without saying that it's going to be a high demand product just like the last one was.

Z06 seems really good because of easy power adders. Pulley/tune/intake and you're around 675/700rwhp it seems!
Z06 is hard to ignore. The thing that would make me hesitate is that the ZR1 is coming very soon, and I'd want to at least know what that's going to be about first. Plus the C8 is also on the near horizon with the long-awaited rear-engine layout coming. Both or the latter will reportedly usher in a new DOHC V8 as well, for what that is worth.

Don't bother with the PDK, if you want a PDK just get a used 911 or GT3.
The GT4 is amazing in manual, it is so fun and so precise. It drives nothing like a regular Cayman, the engine is straight from a 911 and the gearbox is just perfect. If you can still find a GT4 for a good deal then I would do it. Otherwise, look into the market for a second-hand GT3 if you wanted PDK. The manual on a Porsche is nothing like a manual on a BMW, it is far superior in every way.

997 GT3, 6MT R8, V8 F Type, or manual Aston would be at the top of my list.

I'm a big Honda fan trust me, but the best fun car you can think of under a *hundred thousand United States dollars* is a Civic?

At 100k you have an incredible amount of options. With that budget it's not challenging to find a great car / cars....

A fine tuned FD3S, an S2000, a BMW Z4M and and R8 used. After seeing which one I will be bored I would sell and choose something like M3-M6 and later on some porsche turbo and ferraris. At the end I would have leaved the dream of automotive experience...

No point, no BMW Motorsports cars can be made street legal. They live on the track and in the shop. A friend of mine has 3. If you get caught driving that thing on the public roads its a BIG slap on the wrist.

Depends on what you think is fun. M2 would be fine with me, and be way cheaper thank your 100k mark. Is agility fun to you or just raw power? Or some mix of both?

M6 is a great car, I had a few laps in one last year, I personally preferred it to the i8 that everyone else was raving about at the event. The carbon ceramic discs were mighty impressive on the M6 too
