Naruto/Naruto Shippuden. You're right that there are a lot of fillers in it. Currently in one now.....

Code Geass

Gundam 00/ Gundam 00:Awakening of the Trailblazer. I have seen the camrips of it. 00 Quan[T] kicks ass. Can't wait to get the Blu-Ray disc of it.

Naruto, Bleach, One Piece, Fairy Tail, Full Metal Alchemist and FMA Brotherhood (Liked this one better actually)

I watch them all on Animeshippuuden.com and have never had an issue with speed or availability. Make sure to turn your pop-up blocker on first though, there is a new window for every click you make unless you tun it on (just standard Firefox one works)

Yeah, but the Pain saga that just got over a month or so ago was definitely worth a few fillers. These ones are at least not as bad as some of the Bleach ones where it goes back in time and has people running stupid errands and stuff (like now actually...)

Is there any anime that isn't all cutesytootsie with girls with huge eyes and effiminate boys with big swords that is worth watching?

That's mostly the reason why I can't stand anime or Final Fantasy...I've just never seen what makes anime worth watching.

I stopped reading/watching naruto shortly after shippuden arc to wait for the anime to catch up. Ironically enough I lost interest and just decided to let it be. Randomly last xmas I decided to catch up on like 100+ chapters but unfortunately could not keep myself reading long enough to catch up. Naruto just seems to suck now.

Last gundam I watched was seed. I remember I really hated Freya but then I loved her character at the end. They did a great job of character development with her.

Code Geass I never watched. Seems like there's a good fanbase for this, so maybe I should give it a try. Clamp is alright, but i wasn't a big fan.

Same for Basilisk. I think I read a little of the manga though. About ninjas, right?

Oh! Anyone watch Kaze no Yojimbo? Good remake of Kurosawa's Yojimbo.

How about Seikai no Senki (Battle Flag of the Stars). I loved this trilogy, especially the first part.

For mature audiences, start with these 2.

Berserk - medieval/swords/demons/excessive violence
Gantz - guns/super body suits/aliens/excessive violence/T&A

I would suggest reading over watching anime. Especially with Berserk. Gantz is easier to get into cause it's just about doing alien missions and killing stuff. Both have some crazy themes though, so audience beware.

I just watched Robotech via netflix up through ep 35. Ugh.... As a kid I liked it, but seeing it again, it is just horrible. The love triangle was horribly developed. The storyline just freaking sucked.

I only watch Naruto and Bleach (or at least used to). I hate the fact that both have so many fillers. For some reason I hate Bleach even more. I mean it can be so kiddish sometimes (like lame and dumb). It seems that Bleach's fillers are just kinda stupid for some reason. Thus I stopped watching it for almost a year now.

Naruto's fillers, on the other hand, are a bit more bearable. But I got tired of fillers so I've stopped watching it too. I used to read the manga on onemanga.com but that's shut down so I can't read it anymore. I bought Naruto Ninja Storm 2 when it came out about 2 months ago and I love it (the first one was pretty tight as well!).
