Michael, I'll probably go in on the second license if it becomes available. I'm also pretty close to you and already have the software on my laptop.

so everyone get this BS. I went to the dealership after I bought the car last week to drop it off to get some maintenance done (belts, rear breakes, windshield vipers, brake fluid) since i bought the maintenance plan.

I also mentioned a few things that were giving me issues such as

-adaptive headlamp code on iDrive
-The car has wind seep thru the driver door when i go past 60 (salees persons said they would fix it after delivery)
-Driver seat belt retractor does not work (sales person said would fix that also)

they found out that the fuel pump needed to be replaced

When i bought the car I bought an extended warranty on it thru MAP but apparently that POS doesnt cover the headlamp assembly nor the seat belt retractor. Which i was told was covered....the dealership is being understanding and taking care of the problems that were mentioned but my question to you guys is

Are their any OTHER issue's i need to be worried about that possibly might be a problem down the road I needed to get fixed now that warranty might not cover?

Trim peeling happened to me, radio display dead pixel, the common waste gate rattle (never happened to me but it's common), and the dreaded brake squeal.

you mentioned a dreaded brake squeal.. i have a feeling i have that. is it one of those normal brake screeches you hear on a car when the pads are low and the wear indicator is rubbing on the rotor - except it's intermittent and very faint and only and very low speeds?

Mine was never faint. It was pretty loud an annoying and it's the wear indicators.

Yeah mines getting there... These sensors are so expensive for some wires and a piece of plastic.

Thought I would chime in... Jessika's squeak was getting annoying to her so I took both rear calipers off and blasted the whole caliper and pads with brake cleaner and re-greased/siliconed all the usual pieces. There was tons of brake dust/chunks that were easily removed. It has been two weeks without a squeak so far.

I know it is a temp fix but at least it only took me an hour to clean both rear calipers. (including a few beers).

Are you installing yourself? Ask Chad what the best way to remove/clean the filter is....and at what interval. I'm sure I'm getting close. Thanks!

I'll be installing it myself. I bought mine used and it comes w/ a filter but it looks kind of grimey, I'm leaning towards buying a new filter but I may recharge depending on how it looks once I get it.

so now the stealership is backing down on doing the repairs because the GSM didnt know that the adaptive headlamp assembly was $2600.

i took possession of the car 18 days ago and only had it in my possession 5 days rest it has been in the stealerships's place.

i sweat if it takes for me to get a lawyer to get this fixed, i will because its bullshit
