In a nut she'll even with the security update, obd port moved etc your car is and will always be at some risk of being stolen. At the end of the day what car isn't?

I've done a fair bit of reading on this issue and as far as things stand, the thieving scums have found other ways to bypass the car security. Moving the ODB port hardly counts as protection now as they can trace the location of where it is. Also, they have a new way of getting into the car through the wing mirror. Can't say I understand the process. All I know is cars are still being stolen, probably not as easy as it was before.

I'm looking to get a viper system installed and hope another group buy can be sorted. All about peace of mind.

If they are deteremined to steal your car, then nothing stops them.

Removing OBD to another location is hoping to make thier life a little more harder
