Hey Jon,

I called BMWNA today and they said that since my car already had an oil cooler that it would not need another one and he said he had heard nothing of a retrofit oil cooler for my car.

Is there some kinda of documentation I could read telling about the new oil cooler for my car?

Thanks,
Lance

You can see it behind your passenger rear bumper. Turn your wheel and look from a fender well. There are a few bolts you can take off for the cover also.

Let me clear this up for everybody.

The OP had the HPFP changed, not the oil cooler.

The oil cooler is only available for cars with manual transmission or cars with the sports package. If you have an auto without the sports package, like I do, then your SOL.

Hope this clears things up.

And just like Jon said, neither one of the problems are recalls.

I thought 6MT without sports package is SOL too?
