What is the difference in Novillo and Dakota leather?

Let me know if you decide to ship.

P.S. Muffler showed up quickly and in perfect condition. Many thanks!

thats correct, novillo feels similar to Nappa leather on the M3 steering wheel, very smooth and comfortable. Dakota leather is too grainy and rough for me.

the front will bolt right in, the rears will probably require some retrofit, but probably not an easy task.

agree fronts will bolt in... rear dimensions believe are different. I just sold my MSport steering wheel and a strat guitar to try to get the money for these and hit a brick wall on the rears as I have an e90. Figured I'd fly out to Queens and rent a van and road trip it home. Crap!

have these been wrapped in plastic as they've been stored? leather can pick up the smell from the environment it's in

no shipping and no part out, they will be sold as a set. I have a pending buyer at the moment, we are just working out the wiring to make sure it'll fit. but if that falls thru i'll consider other offers.

UNSOLD. Now for sale again but please note they are 2008 seats, not '09 as in the thread title. Contrary to popular belief they are NOT plug and play for an '09 or newer...

I bought these from phozenstone hoping to get them into my '09 E90, but not to be. See here:

http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthr...95#post6587195

I'm not willing or able to go as far as swapping out the seat belt and/or tensioner mechanism. Also since my '09 has the crash-active head restraints and these seats do not, the M3 crash-active head restraints would have to be retro-fitted, and I actually ordered these from Tischer and did the mod, only to find out about the seat belt issue. So I undid the mod and hope Tischer will let me return them. Otherwise they'll be for sale too.

A shame, because these seats are phenomenal and I will continue searching for an '09 set.

Note also the ashtray pictured in the rear center console was sold before I bought the set so I don't have that part. I do have the emergency brake cover that is not pictured. I don't know if they are heated or not, but if an interested buyer knows how I can check I'd be happy to.

I live in Rockland County - pickup in person or I can probably arrange to deliver to a reasonable distance for a reasonable cost.

I will not sell only the front seats.

Any questions feel free....

Howard

Will they work in a 2008 335i coupe? And what are you looking to get for them?

yup, I put a lot of time, money and effort into this because the seats were and still are worth it. Lesson learned, I'll know exactly what to check for if a set of '09's comes along.

Because of my experience I can only say they *should* work on an '08 coupe because the seats came from an '08 M3 coupe. But ultimate responsibility for checking compatibility with other years/models has to remain with the buyer.

$3k OBO. As mentioned prior, and as confirmed to me by Jason at Tischer, the seats are not even sold as a complete assembly and to piece them together would be enormously expensive, probably in the $7k area.

Thanks,
Howard
