Stock speaker wire gauge

Does anyone know what wire gauge the stock speaker wiring is?

NOT sure but most cars I think come with 16 gauge as standard.

I just wanted to make sure that the stock wiring could handle my amp/speaker upgrade. I think it's either going to be 16 or 14 gauge. Probably 16 though.

Unless you are running GOBS of current and really high power amps you wont really notice the difference. However, I have been known to use 12 gauge wire just because it can handle the load better and "theoretically" has less of loss of signal and fuller sound. Bigger is always better as far as wire gauge in my book.
