New clutch help

Alright, I am going to redo my clutch. It is slipping pretty bad (only 50K miles) (Gears 4-6) as I have added power and starting to smell on fast runs so I need to do it sooner than later.

I've bought the following so far:
* ACT HD Street Clutch
* UUC EVO3 Short Shift Kit (might as well)
* Pilot Bearing
* Set of one time use aluminum screws for the bell housing
* OEM Release Bearing Assembly
* high strength loctite

What else should I replace while I am in there?
Slave cylinder? As for the flywheel, I guess I will try to resurface if possible.

Do your best to resurface the flywheel. Otherwise you will not get the most out of the new clutch. You also need the OEM clutch plate self-locking bolts. Do not use loctite, the OEM clutch plate bolts have thread locker on them. Also you may want to replace the flywheel bolts, I think they are one-time use too.

So you need 3 sets of bolts if you want to do it properly.

Yes, that seems to be the one.

You need to resurface or replace the flywheel. I wouldn't even waste your time on the job unless you can definitely do it. If its been slipping your flywheel surface is probably smooth as glass.

Yeah, I am sure it is toast. Hopefully I can find a good place to have it resurfaced. We don't have a Clutch Masters up in NorCal, so I need to find a place that will do a good job. (assuming it isn't cracked, which I will have no choice but to spend 950$ T_T)

If you plan on using the stock DMFW, make sure they have a rotary tool to resurface the FW.

So I finally got to the flywheel... wow more work than I was anticipating @_@.

But, the flywheel feels like phonebook pages so I guess it doesn't need resurfacing but there is some play with being able to turn it. Is it toast and needing replacement?

I've got no lateral movement, but about an Inch of movement at the edges as I turn it. I'm attaching a video so hopefully this well help.

I did find this and is a huge help

Thanks in advance!

Im surprised to see our clutches going out this soon, is this normal? I went out for a spirited drive yesterday in the mountains and on the way back it was starting to slip at low RPM in 6th gear. I only have 70k on mine, and Im sure these aren't covered under warranty, right?
If I need to replace mine, I'm going to go for the Clutchmasters kit that comes with a lighter flywheel.

I'm still having trouble deciding
on which clutch to get because of the so many mixed reviews.

Anyone out there wanna comment on what they purchased, why and how it's holding up?

I bought a ACT BM8-HDSD but need a flywheel to go with it... if I do need one... Is mine toast?

If it is toast, I would like to go lighter but since the disc isn't sprung, a single mass might cause a lot of chatter. ?

UPDATE...

I'm @ 51K miles and the turn is slightly hard to turn the flywheel, so I think it's good. I think it's got a good 75-100K left in it. Hope it's OK! haha. I'll just pay someone to do this next time -__-

Got my clutch all done about a week ago or so. Now at 480 miles and it's awesome! Now I've got no traction in 2nd LSD next!
