Croatia in European delivery

Just placed an order for an E93 335is through my trusted CA Greg Poland @ Pacific BMW. Unbeatable price and fantastic experience as usual, this would be my second ED through him.

I was planning out my itinerary and thought about spending a weekend in Zagreb, Croatia. It'd be fun to celebrate my 28th birfday there Noticed that the ED website lists Croatia as a non-EU country which doesn't recognize tourist plates. Anyone been here recently on your ED? It'd be good to get details/tips on crossing the border, car registration/insurance etc. I'll then have to decide if it's worth the extra work and hassle.

Thanks!

Crotia is beautiful, definitely a great drive down through the mountains (coming through Slovenia and hugging the coast). Not sure about plates, last time I went we were in cars from Slovakia (EU) and had no issues at all, but they weren't tourist plates (whatever that is) .
