Halagon to HID Options--Looking for feedback

I've been searching for an upgrade option for quite some time (my car is an '07 328i). I haven't upgraded in hopes of the OEM HID's dropping in price. Regardless, I came across this page, and it seems to have several options for E90 owners. Additionally, I was considering the Philips conversion for 269, as it seems to be the best quality; however, for $79, the other kit does come with a one year warranty.
Regardless, I am looking for some feedback on any of the products mentioned on this page. Any feedback would be appreciated. It is always easier taking the extra time to buy something than it is trying to get a refund, so in advance thanks for your assistance.

Regards,
John

First, you have to make sure the HID kit will be error free on your car.

I would recommend the MTEC HID kit

In reflective housing the light is being scattered all over and blinding other drivers, that's the problem.

John,

I would skip the HID kit for now and wait until you can get projectors. Installing HIDs in a halogen housing is a bad idea due to glare issues.

i read a "jlevi" post that Depo was developing oem replacement xenon headlights. do you think they will match the oem look and quality? and can you predict the price?

I did the halogen to xenon conversion and happy with it. most kits will work if you use digital canbus ballasts and error cancelers.
