Congrats Matt. Louisa is pregnant again with our 2nd and we are approaching the 12 week scan - very nervous and hoping things go ok this time. Best of luck with yours fella.

Stevie and all - cheers.
We had some major issues in the past (lost one at 37 weeks, another at 12ish weeks) so we are also a bit nervous but having a lovely little boy helps immensely. So I know how you feel. To me 12 weeks is a major milestone - once past that, you can relax a bit. Oh and CONGRATULATIONS! I'm sure all will be fine - the odds are well in your favour. Before he arrived, it was the stark difference of being parents or not. Last edited by Em135eye; 07-22-2010 at 03:56 PM.. |

Great news Matt. I wish you (and family) all the best. We've had a shite 12 months (one miscarriage last year then made a horrendous decision to end a pregnancy, a little girl it transpired, in March at 22ish weeks due to problems). Our little girl keeps us going but onwards and upwards as they say. Having a health baby is such a blessing and shouldn't be taken for granted.
Losing one at 22 weeks was bad enought but 37 weeks, my God, so difficult to deal with that.

Roger - sorry to hear that.
Little (completely healthy) fella of ours cord knotted around his neck and that was it. Indeed very, very tough but also very, very rare. Always painful to remember but the little boy we have now (wife got pregnant with him three months after the loss) makes all the difference. Anyway this is getting a bit serious - let's talk about lack of sleep and baby puke! |

Congrats to all who are expecting
Oh, and while the 2nd is a lot easier (you know what to expect) - juggling 2 is 3x harder Btw, Gina Ford routine means our kids (3yrs and 7 months) are in bed by 7pm and don't wake to gone 7am

Don't know about that Gina-bird's routine but my routine means my little one sleeps from 7.30pm to 7.30am most nights. Seems to sleep in until about 8am on a Friday for some reason; shame it's not a Saturday though!!!

My little one is just approaching 2 and loving every minute of it. Hopefully more on the way When do you think the Mrs will suggest getting a bigger car and having to face the prospect of parting company with the 335d |
