Good bodyshop to CUT STOCK BUMPER

So since I won't be going with an mtech rear end for a while, I thought I would just put on some quads onto my stock e92 bumper.

Anybody know of a bodyshop that would be able to cut my stock bumper into a setup which could accomodate quads?

Thinking of going to RMP, but was wondering if a dedicated bodyshop would be able to make a more smoother OEM looking cut.

Bump as I may have to go this route as well.

I looked into it a bit, and was told anyone can do it...but these is a shop I used to use for my 350z roadster that would do this really well. Need to dig up their number and I will post it up.

Yeah I wouldn't want a crooked cut or something haha, want it to look totally OEM.

Let me know, we'll go get it done the same time and tell them to hook us up haha.

Dr. G and Havok, I might be able to help you guys do it yourself. I've got a dremel at home with CF cutting bits. Trick is to put masking tape around the edges of where you don't want to cut and then to do some general first cuts and then go back to refine the line. I'll put your desired cut lines in CAD and we'll print it off as a template for the taping. I've never done a bumper before but I at least know what to look for and how to get the measurements right.

We could document it and post up a DIY if you guys want to try yourself?

This is an olllld thread, I already got an M-tech bumper and quad setup.

HOWEVER! I have a rear bumper in mint condition if someone wants to use it to cut it up, instead of using their own bumper. Let me know, ill give it away dirt cheap.

Andy, we could use my bumper to do a quad setup custom cut on it for people as well

Let me know, I might be able to sell it easier after its "quad ready"

Haha yeah, I have a quad diffuser too... but if someone wants my sapphire black to cut up I may be willing to sell it

Thanks for the kind offer though Andy! Appreciate it!

Another option...maybe get the bastuck quad diffuser. It fits right onto the stock non-mtech bumper. It looks pretty oem, although i'm not sure if it will fit all quads
