Touchtones through voice command?

I don't have my car yet (I should have it in the next week or two) but I thought of something that hasn't been discussed here yet. I was thinking how calling my voicemail via the bluetooth-paired phone in the car would work. You normally have to push digits to delete messages, etc. Can this be done through voice commands somehow? It would be better to do this via voice rather than tracking down the phone in the car just to push a button.

That wouldn't work or every time you said to, or too, or any number the phone would beep (unless they had a button to press before you said the number, in which case you could have just pushed the button yourself)

I was thinking that you would press the voice command button on the steering wheel first and say something like "dial two."

Touch tones

I don't know of a way to do it with voice, but I know that when you are in a call with bluetooth, there is a preset button you press on the stereo (I think it says keypad) and then you can press the corresponding number or # or * key using the radio preset buttons to send the tones.

if you're pushing the voice dial button why not just press the button for the number you want? either way you're pushing a button, and one way is way faster

I figured that it would be safer to push the voice command button on the steering wheel rather than trying to find the right button on the phone.
