This may be a really dumb question as I can't find any discussions on the idea anywhere. The cold weather here in Boston doesn't help with battery life and I need to uninstall Cobb AP tune for a trip to the car dealer (trying to avoid the whole "your car is tuned thing"). However I live in the city and park in a parking garage. I don't have the ability to use a trickle charger since there are no outlets to plug into. I'm concerned the battery may die when in the middle of the flash.

Has anyone attached a jump pack to the car to act as a "secondary" source of power when flashing their car?

you could do that it will be fine. I have put car chargers and battery packs to change the rear battery. so I wouldn't have to register the new battery it work find I can't see why not you can't do that

I have done that. Just make sure it stays on. My jump pack turns itself off after like 10 minutes.

Yea I did that too when I first started tuning. BTW autozone has a great return policy

Use the battery terminal in your engine bay!!

Good to hear some of you have done it without issues. I will need to shop around now
