Peer-to-peer file sharing. You install a torrent client which you then load a torrent file with. The torrent file itself is very small, it only contains metadata about where to download the actual file from. It then downloads it from seeders, or people who are sharing it (it's good practice to continue seeding the file after you've completed downloading it). Sometimes it can take awhile for less popular stuff, but the speed usually increases exponentially for me.
