Poll: what dealership has screwed you or had a horrible experience

Like the title says! Personally I am having so much problems with JMK BMW. Went for turbo recall and got my car back with my car pulling to the right, turbos whistle like crazy, hear a hissing sound from engine when car shuts off (vacuum leak) and my dsc malfunction light turned on today. Btw they had my car for 10 days and just got it back today (bringing it back to them tomorrow!$, forgot to put screws back in on engine cover. Idk what's going on with them!

What happened when you went to them? I've heard of so many horror stories regarding life quality. I live probably 10 minutes from them and I have never even thought of stepping foot in there.

I think I recall filling up at a station once and this guy came up to me and asked me about his wastegate rattling and asked me if I knew what it was. He was telling me about how he went to life quality a few times and was explaining to them about his wastegates rattling and they just told him it's normal and nothing was wrong, I straight up told him to not even go there again.

I have had so many horror stores about them its not even funny. I didn't learn my lesson after the first time. I remember one time they gave me back my car with a dead battery and tried to tell me that it was because of my aftermarket system. B******T ..... Not realizing that since my car was sitting in the cold for 4 days that the power in the battery got low . So once it was charged the car had no issues..

My alignment got messed up from Jmk and they would not take the blame. Also my dsc malfunction light came out. This could be from a bad alignment from what I have researched. Which I hope. Dsc can get very expensive with repairs

I actually was just at JMK last weekend and they were pretty good to me. I like JMK and Flemington. I used to go to Princeton BMW but they hardly answer my calls and haven't had great customer service since. They also curbed one of my wheels but they did fix it for free...worth a mention.

I had quite a few mess ups from BMW of Tenafly but they always did good at the end of the day...Past my warranty!!! That's grade A service in my book... I only went to JMK for parts and their prices are quite competitive compared to other dealers, in my opinion.....

BMW of Great Neck service dept.

Got there at 7:30AM! I was first on line, they didn't even open yet, and came in to replace a flat under tire warranty. Normally this would take 2 hours, but they told me after 3 hours of waiting that they can't release the car to me because of a faulty radiator (1 hour job). They told me it would be ready by 11am. They released the car at 2:30PM and it wasn't even washed after almost 7 hours of waiting for a tire.

This was back when I was in college and I had a final to take that same day. They refused to give me a loaner and wouldn't accommodate me in any way. Even the manager said the most they can do is offer a ride to the train (its still a 2 hour ride and I would miss the exam anyway).

Anyway, I ended up missing my exam and getting a D because of it. Never had a bad experience with them until that day, but I never thought about going back after that. Even my SA and the manager at the time acknowledged how they dropped the ball and that it shouldve been done at the agreed upon time.

East Bay BMW Service Dept. 1997. Took my car in for an oil change. Tech forgot to replace oil filler cap back on. Oil was all over the engine bay after driving it home.

Much, much better Service Dept now

Brought it in for misfire, they fixed an o2 censor instead of misfire. Picked up car, two days later misfire code came back on in the same cylinder and warranty had just ran out day before, called them and they wouldn't fix the misfire under warranty even tho that's why I brought the car in the first place.
