I installed my Eibach springs this weekend and painted the lip today. Paint and supplies cost about $200 and I have enough left over to paint a bumper or two. Total time spent painting and prepping was about 3-4 hours including the time it took to wait in between coats. I still haven't put any adhesives on the lip or screwed it in, it's just sitting on the bumper.

Will update pics in an hour or two.

Sorry but neither the lip or the color fit at all. The lip almost looks too large. And the color is definitely off.

Not bad for the price, but yea the lip looks like it bulges a bit on the sides...and the color is off a bit...

It's the shadows and the lip is merely sitting on the bumper. I'll take some pics in the light today.

Too much orange peel on the lip and it's bulging a bit too far on the front and sides. Paint match also looks off.

Otherwise good job but I'd rather just buy the ones the vendors are selling for $300 shipped and save the hassle of doing any of that stuff myself. I have a compressor and paint gun but my time is worth more than the labor of sanding/painting. Especially when the end result will be spot on rather than spotty.

Good job with the DIY though.

Sorry for taking the other pics down, but they were not very good. Here are new ones. The lip is not perfect, but I like it. Thanks everyone for your feedback.

Good job. I'd like to see these pics next to pics (the same way) of the OEM. I still am set on the mtech for now but this is tempting...don't know if I could get it shipped over here tho...

what would you rate the fitment out of 10? does the seller still have the lips listed?

I'd rate it 7.5. The sides are slightly too long and require some sort of adhesive to keep them pressed along the bumper. You'll also need some sort of adhesive on the front where the two splitters come up.

I'm pretty sure the OEM requires adhesive in the same places...

I would not spend more money on an OEM lip, but everyone obviously has there own opinions in that regard. If you want a perfect lip get the OEM, make sure you drive perfectly because it's going to get scraped and chipped.

$295 OEM Lip
$70 Shipping
$160 Paint

$99 Ebay lip
$200 Paint

I also purchased an Ebay OEM front lip from my buddy for $150. He actually got it for $170 shipped a couple months ago, but he just never got a chance to install it. The fitment was pretty good to my amazement. Well worth the $150.

Time and time again I hear so much negativity about products on eBay. I recently purchased a M-Tech front lip painted already for $169 bucks. Looks great. Fit great. Only needed some 3M double sided tape in some key areas. Installed on a sunny day. Worth every penny.

What seller did you buy from? It looks like there are currently a lot of "M-tech" style front lips listed for around that price.

It's Benz-vs-BMW or something like that.
