Since you've been here so long, why don't you give us some examples of these spoiled punkass kids running the forum?

Back up what you say, or don't say it at all. NOOBIE.

spoiled and punkass? maybe, but i know for a fact many people that are young on this forum contribute tons. Hunter for an example is 16 or 17. This is a forum, and the point of a forum is to keep things relevant to the post topic. In this situation mownsyou is posting a topic and seeking help. If you do not have anything beneficial to help him with, don't post...its that simple.

so back to the forum topic

Sorry M about the car. The main thing is you are ok. We were all young once and we all have made dumb mistakes. I know I have(most people that criticize just envy your youth). Take this as a lesson learned. As long as you learn from your mistakes its ok, thats what makes old men wiser. From what you typed sound like you are growing up already. No one was hurt so dust off your shoulders get your car fixed and get back out there.

Oh and get your MOM some flowers and a big apology.

sorry for your damage...the worst part of it all is now you're gonna have to wait and see what will happen with the insurance and everything..And the waiting for the unknown is the worst feeling. The important thing is that you're okay (imagine the worst case scenario....) and that you're gonna have second chance to enjoy driving an ultimate machine. Not everyone has this opportunity to drive a nice ride like yours

Ouch that sucks man. Lol thats the road right underneath "Wood Canyon." That road is known for that sort of stuff. I really doubt youve learned your lesson here, you'll probably get a few more speeding tickets, maybe some more accidents until your drivers licenses gets suspended and then youll get the clue, maybe. The more guilt you carry around with you the more likely you are not to make that mistake again. Your so lucky to have that car, and I have many friends who have been in your position before that have totatlly blown it and drive shitcans cause their parents got sick and tired of the bull. Thats a lot of damage especially considering insurance is gonna have to cover it all. Drive safe and know the limits of your car and your own driving skills. If it makes you feel any better your definately not the last one to wreck their car on that road.

glad your doing ok but exactly how did u get it into that ditch? im sure you've learned your lesson and when you see that estimate, you will be much more careful, im positive.

take it to spectrum collision irvine. they fixed a minor collision on my ride and it turned out just like new. they do a very good job. as far as the estimates go, it will exceed 14k for sure...

OK, I believe this is the topic at hand:

So we have full coverage but how long do you guys think it'll take them to pay for it all? its going to be like 14k or something, 5-6 for wheels and tires, 4k for mechanical damage, 6-9k for an awsome complete re-painting of the whole car.

We have Farmers, its gonna take like atleast 2-3 weeks to get the money, 6-8 weeks for new wheels..........fuck.
If someone can decipher exactly what the OP is requesting help for, I'm sure there would plenty of members who would be more than happy to oblige. Present company included.

While age may be relevant, it isnt the topic at hand here, M owns you is asking for advice about how to claim insurance and how the process works. i know we are prejudiced towards the younger crowd on the forum, but besides bmwexecutive, most members contribute regardless of their age. so please leave m_owns_you's age out of this, its offtopic.

None of this matter because Mommy and Daddy pay for everything. I agree with his Mom but if she really cared she would sell the car and no let him drove for 6 months then buy him a POS car. This will never happen though because eveyone in the neighborhood has to keep up wth each other. So sad so sad.

Lol no matter what ///m_owns_you Posts about this bickering happens in every single thread. Maybe we should just dedicate a thread so the "cool older guys who are down with ///m" can battle the "old bitter guys who have worked hard for what they 've got and hate seeing it so freely given to the undeserved" can argue over whos side is better.

I hope everything works out soon ///M owns you. I am glad you are able to learn the lesson without getting hurt at all. Some people aren't so lucky and never got their second chances. I live around the Irvine area also so if you need anything (rides, etc) just hit me up.
