Sorry another tire thread

Having recently made the leap from Michelin ps2 rft tires to the non run flat Michelin ps3.

Very glad I have made this change, I\'m only on 18inch mv3 wheels but the ride quality has improved, road noise reduced and so far as I can tell on daily driving roads in London no loss of feel or turn in whatsoever

Genuinly feel like this is a no brainier.
Saved circa 200 quid for the non rft
Admittedly the saving was offset by cost of compressor and tire weld but that was less than 50 quid. So happy days.

Anyway enough ramble,
My question is what are the recommended tire pressures to run on 18\" non rft.
Car is 335i e92

Cheers guys

Bit low in my opinion Yves...

I've tried a few combos and I'm happy with 36psi and 38 psi....

but i'm on 18 rft bridgestone....

when i move to non rft i mite start playing around with the pressures again...

if you have tyreweld you don't need a compressor. As long as you have one of the larger cans it will fill the tyre with air enough to get you to a garage that has an air pump.

I was advised 35psi front and 39psi rear by my fitters and they seem spot on.

thats 225/40/18 and 255/35/18 Goodyear eagle F1 assy 2's

Personally I would always go by the tyre manufacturers recommended pressure for that specific tyre rather than BMW's generic pressures...

Way too hard!

Last page of attached file might be of assistance...

Lots of things come into play but One has come to appreciate that in a great many respects, BMW have been there before us and worn the T Shirt.

slow puncture and a compressor is more useful as it wont ruin the tire was my rational.
never mind, purchased now.

cheers for PSI info guys.
Seems as though its a trial and error / personal pref scenario
