Drivers side lower???
I've had my E91 Msport lowered on Eibach pro kit, however the drivers side seems to sit lower than the passenger side, now I remember when I had an E36 it was normal for the drivers side to sit lower, is it the same with the E90's?

I cant say Ive ever noticed it on any of my cars except the series 3 Landrover which had different springs on each side to cater for the off-centre transmission which was very heavy. How much do you weigh ?

For some reason, BMW have a plus or minus tolerance of 10mm on the suspension height between left and right hand side and one side is deliberately lower. This allows the car to be level when a driver is in the driver's seat with an assumed weight of 75kg.
They set it up only on the basis of a left hand drive car so our right hand drive doesn't balance out when a driver is seated. This is why my car looks like it's on m-sport suspension on one side and land rover suspension on the other. I don't know if the imbalance is built into the suspension components or on their mounting points but it may be why you have this problem. Funny, Jaguar has a balanced, level car whether it's right hand or left hand. Pity BMW couldn't. |
